Step 1: Learner's Permit
Minimum Age
14 years old
Holding Period
6 months
Requirements:
- Pass written knowledge test
- Pass vision screening
- Parent/guardian consent if under 18
Step 2: Intermediate/Provisional License
Minimum Age
16 years old
Night Curfew
11:00 PM - 4:00 AM
Passenger Limit
1 unrelated passenger under 21
Restrictions:
- Must have held learner's permit for 6 months
- No driving between 11 PM and 4 AM unless for work, school, or church
- No more than 1 unrelated passenger under 21 (except family)
Step 3: Full Driver License
Minimum Age
18 years old
Requirements:
- Must have held intermediate license for 6 months
- No traffic violations for previous 6 months
- Pass road skills test
